What is Méduse?

Méduse is a cooperative of artistic, cultural, and community producers and presenters, bringing together 10 member organizations. Each of these members has a specific artistic mandate and rents creation, production, and presentation spaces. These organizations are responsible for organizing artistic activities such as presentations, residencies, and training programs, as well as offering the rental of specialized spaces and equipment.

More about usMore about us

A welcoming and vibrant space, Méduse is a unique and essential cultural hub in Canada, fostering the development of contemporary artistic expressions.

Our collection

The Méduse Collection is an educational collection of over 90 works by contemporary artists from the greater Quebec City area. It is a rich testimony to the practices present at Méduse and elsewhere in the region. The Collection is a way to broaden the audience already present and to reach out to the community. As part of its educational objective, the Collection Méduse offers mediation activities to its visitors, with a particular focus on school groups.
