SALLE MULTI - VU D’ICI by Mathieu Arsenault - Scenic adaptation from Christian Lapointe

Présenté en 2009 au Carrefour international de théâtre et au Théâtre La Chapelle en 2008, Vu d'ici s'affiche comme un pamphlet contre la télévision et l'abrutissement social qu'elle génère. Christian Lapointe met ici en scène le cri de révolte de la jeunesse, d'une génération.
Seul en scène pendant une heure et demie, Jocelyn Pelletier interprète ce texte « coup de poing » dans lequel rien n'est épargné : la vie de banlieue, l'économie de marché, la violence, la culture populaire, l'étroitesse d'esprit, la politique, etc. C'est une charge contre la médiatisation outrancière qui banalise, désensibilise, asservit, aplanit. C'est aussi une virulente critique de la société québécoise contemporaine, la production télévisuelle en étant le reflet.

Craché telle une lave urgente, brûlant l'intérieur, par Jocelyn Pelletier, seul dans l'arène où il s'investit avec cran, le texte de Mathieu Arsenault est provocateur, grille tout sur son passage. Y répondent la mise en scène de Christian Lapointe, rigoureuse, radicale, et la scénographie, éloquente: profusion et destruction d'objets.
