Antitube was created with the aim of offering Quebec City a consistent annual program of cinematic events. The organization has become a cinema presenter recognized for the quality of its programs, motivated by an auteur-rice vision. Its mandate is to present independent works and offer them to the public, with an explanation of the artists’ approach and a direct relationship between filmmakers and viewers. Its main objectives are film education, the dissemination of independent works and the promotion of cinephilia in Quebec City.
After 25 years of nomadic existence, Antitube is consolidating its expertise by opening an art house cinema in the Saint-Roch district, the Cinéma Beaumont. This new venue, devoted entirely to independent cinema of today and yesteryear, also offers its room and equipment to the city’s artistic and community community.

Opening hours:
Thursday and Friday, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, 3 pm to 9 pm
