Libre – Dire oui is Théâtre Rude Ingénierie’s sixth stage production. Navigating between instruments, musical objects, dance-performance and mechanical installations, five performers cross paths in a game of cohabitation. This cabaret of simultaneous occupations brings together bodies, machines and sounds, between clashes and alliances, with no pre-established rules. For Libre – Dire oui, we play on the register of the intimate: Saying yes to a personal heritage as an act of resistance to the fabrication of other “facade memories”, offering ourselves this time of contact with what builds us right down to our roots, valuing and celebrating the territories that make us up in their smallest, most complex and banal expressions, studying what binds or fragments them, to play at activating zones of liberated expression where the cohabitation of these diversified languages is prioritized, to fight against an accelerating time by reflecting on spaces of slowing down to counter a feeling of wear and tear, of scattering in production, of exhaustion, of loss of time and essence.
