The La photographie écoresponsable project is part of the center’s ethical approach to reducing the environmental impact of printed image production practices. After receiving support from a sustainable development consulting firm, we implemented a number of actions and internal policies to improve the way we do things. In the spirit of sharing and for a wider impact, we also consulted our peers Sagamie, Espaces F, L’imprimerie and Université Laval to find out about their realities and actions.
At the same time, a research-creation component was developed, and artists Anne-Marie Bouchard, Cynthia Johnston and Éloïse Plamondon-Pagé were invited to use their creativity to develop new know-how in the three fields of expertise of the production workshops during residencies.
This day of exchange will provide an opportunity to share the thoughts and experiences of artists and partner centers.
