Since January 21, self-taught musician and animator Jean-Philippe Lessard – a.k.a. Jip Less – has been in co-production to produce a stop-motion animated music video for his song Doucette, from a microalbum to be released in 2026. Taking advantage of the flatness of the title track, he animates the rhythmic scrolling of the lyrics and their processions of unusual objects, symbolizing the song’s themes of longing and estrangement.
