Engramme Prize for 2024 Graduates of Université Laval: Residency by Raphaël Supper

Raphaël aims to further develop his project Maison d’artiste, first presented during the Histoire.s exhibition in 2024. This project envisions a space that the viewer can enter—a space that evokes a sense of being elsewhere. Raphaël seeks to explore the possibility of a place where the concepts of gallery and artwork merge.

His goal is to create bricks made of screenprinted paper that will form a permanent yet nomadic work—one that can be moved and reassembled in different ways by interchanging the modules. In doing so, Raphaël offers an innovative interpretation of printmaking by exploring the medium in a three-dimensional, installation-based form.
