Exhibition Impermanences by Pépite and Josèphe, Noelle Wharton-Ayer and Audrée Demers-Roberge, Marie-Claude Drolet at Engramme

As part of its fall program, Engramme presents an original group show featuring five Quebec artists from different backgrounds. The meeting point of their practice: their poetic approach to the ephemeral. At the intersection of printmaking and installation, the works on view turn the gallery into an observatory of everyday disappearances. The transitory state, sometimes frozen, sometimes assumed, is revealed by the artists’ approach, inspired by gathering and archaeology.
