Among the people who observe warblers is this artist, who watches them observe, and highlights the relationship that emerges between human and bird. Here, in this wasteland, someone also points out the presence of this plant that can teach us as well as heal us. Here, we’ve just cut down the elm tree that used to bring coolness and comfort to the neighborhood, while at the same time sheltering a precious ecosystem in the heart of the city. Now we’re invited to reflect, to recognize the spirit that animates all things, and to take the time to contemplate life as it takes shape and unfolds in all its dimensions.
