Exhibition: Louis Bouvier’s conjugation of complex thoughts at L’Œil de Poisson

Through anachronistic montage, Louis Bouvier proposes encounters between the old and the new, between artifacts of the past and forms of the present, thus connecting heritage and tradition to certain contemporary issues. The combination of complex thoughts offers a different way of experiencing visual art, by integrating sound into the sculptures. […] Calling for introspection through contemplation, this exhibition alters the established codes of the sculptural experience. To accompany this communion, choreographer Anne Thériault and composer Virginie Reid take a performative look at the installation.
