Exhibition: My Mother is Data by Ahreum Lee

My Mother is Data is a video installation work that explores Ahreum Lee’s relationship with her estranged biological mother, who has communicated with her only via email since childhood. Triggered by the false news of her death in 2014, the project examines the profound impact of decontextualized data on intimate relationships in our information-saturated world. The exhibition runs from September 6 to October 6.
