Exhibition: Nez de colle by Pénélope and Chloë at VU

If we define the studio as a place to create, for each artist it implies actions characteristic of his or her world. It’s a place to think, research, experiment and play, until the work slowly takes shape. For Pénélope and Chloë, who have been working as a duo for many years, the studio is also a pretext for getting together every day, so that the little rituals of everyday life have come to take on as much importance as the acts of creation. When friendship and artistic practice merge, snack time becomes as essential as capturing an image.
