Presented from September 12 to October 19 in the main gallery of L’Œil de Poisson, this unique exhibition revolves around an architectural device imagined by artists Sarah Thibault and Annie Charland-Thibodeau. “Traverser les temps, inventer les futurs” celebrates L’Œil de Poisson’s 40th anniversary with a collective, processual exhibition, conceived as a space of hospitality, living memory and invention. Installations, performances, workshops and remixed archives interweave to make the exhibition an inhabited place, where artists, curators and communities revisit the center’s histories while imagining its futures.

In the small gallery, Carol-Ann Belzil Normand and Fanny Latreille activate the Fish Eye archives through artistic, narrative and poetic gestures. It’s an exploration whose detour offer a (re)reading of history – from the margins, collective memory, and human relationships.
