Manif d’art

Manif d’art’s mandate is to promote contemporary art by local, national and international artists. By creating original contexts for creation and dissemination, Manif d’art plays a rallying role for artists of diverse reputations. These artists benefit from a unique artistic freedom and showcase offered by activities exclusively created and managed by the organization: Manif d’art – La biennale de Québec, the Winter Garden, the circulation of works abroad, the Visual and Media Arts and Crafts component of the Première Ovation measure, and the Videre Visual Arts Awards. Through the diversity of its initiatives, Manif d’art aims to counter the exodus of creative talent from the Quebec City region, by positioning itself as a leading retention tool for local artistic talent.
