Exposition : De ces mondes : Floralité de Richard Baillargeon à Manif d’art

Manif d’art presents De ces mondes: Floralité by Richard Baillargeon until February 9, 2025 at the Manif d’art showcase/gallery. In this work, the artist presents several representations of flowers: drawn, printed, woven and artificial. Here, he highlights the absence of the flower in its true nature, taking care to bring out the details of the materials reproduced in his work with images produced using a high-resolution flatbed scanner. Words also run through each part, suggesting avenues for further reading and shifting the images towards other avenues of meaning and affect.
